Temi - Community (beneficiary 2010-2024)
Temi is a caring community near Gremi with a stimulating environment for around ninety socially vulnerable people varying in age from the 8-month-old son of handicapped parents to an 84-year-old lady with special needs. Life at Temi is based on the belief that all human beings are equal, that everyone can contribute and that each of us has the right to reach our full potential – which requires the provision of care, love, education and opportunities.
Temi is hoping to achieve the self-sustainability needed to ensure its long-term survival. One of the ways it has started to do this is by fully utilizing its vineyards to produce marketable quantities of quality wine (including a medal-winning qvevri white). Dog Organization Georgia (beneficiary 2010-2024)
Dog Organization Georgia (DOG) opened its small shelter near Lisi Lake in 2011, to try to help some of Georgia’s street dogs. Run almost entirely by volunteers, DOG has vaccinated and sterilized more than 3000 dogs, found homes for more than 400 (both in Georgia and overseas) and currently has 42 healthy, fully vaccinated and sterilized dogs in its care. Eight years ago, Dog Organization Georgia started working with schools in Tbilisi to raise awareness of animal welfare among the younger generations. They teach children how to care for dogs appropriately, how to read their behaviour, and how to be safe around them.

International Women's Association Georgia (beneficiary 2024)
IWAG is a highly respected registered charity organization in Georgia and has been supporting the Georgian community for 26 years. Its Charity Projects Committee receives ongoing requests from small local organizations and individuals/families in need throughout the country.
Many of the requests for support are to fund lifesaving actions such as emergency medical care and cancer medications; educational support for children in remote areas of the country; and access to clean water, sanitation, and safe housing for people living in extreme poverty.
Mkrunali (beneficiary 2023)
The association “Mkurnali” was created in 2000 and shelters homeless children, teenagers and young families. Some of their residents are released from prison and/or in conflict with law.
Mkurnali is the only organization in Georgia that provides legal assistance to street children and the youth, in addition to giving them living space and food.
The building provides shelter to 15 beneficiaries permanently, and about 30 beneficiaries through the winter time. It also provides regular assistance to 10 very poor families with children.
Mkurnali purchased the building in 2011 to secure a permanent location, but the condition, even then, was very basic and has since deteriorated.
In addition to supporting their ongoing efforts to house their vulnerable beneficiaries, funds raised in 2023 enabled them to carry out much needed building repairs and renovations to improve the living conditions provided
Catharsis (beneficiary 2015-2019)
Catharsis is a community charity group which has been operating since 1990 to help the vulnerable. In particular it helps homeless elderly people in Tbilisi and elsewhere, by providing daily hot meals in its canteens. Catharsis also provides medical, rehabilitation and support services such as a temporary shelter, computer and exercise classes and food parcels at Christmas and Easter.
